Laron
 | Description: | Laron is the leader of the Mecs. Youngest General the Army ever produced, now retired - never completely abandoned his military appearence and style. Never goes anywhere without his trusted aide Crax. Laron talks thru a voice box in his throat, which makes him sound a bit like a robot. Tough, clever and experienced. Designed several grand Machiavellian plans in the Army, and still has a masterplan for his clan. |
| Def Moment: | Been a fighter all his life - decends from a dynasty of proud soldiers. His family has been involved in some of the greatest battles on Earth through history: Defeating the Spanish Armada and defending Vienna in the 15th and 16th century, fighting an imperialistic emperor at Waterloo in the 18th century and commanding battleships at Midway and repulsing the Tet offensive in the jungles during the 19th century. Laron fought on secret missions for years and experienced the devastation the ongoing conflicts Man against Man accomplished. But he finally realized that the greatest battle of this century is Man versus Nature – and Laron is determined that Nature must win , or Man will perish. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | Has a soft spot for cats. Has a Siamese cat called Wellington. Loves it more than anything else, although it sometimes gets scared when he calls out the name...because of his voice box. |

Dr. Smirk
 | Description: | Dr. Smirk is the extremely gifted surgeon who has performed most of the body enhancements for the Mecz. A very good pianist as well. |
| Def Moment: | In his quest to create the ultimate soldier, he has experimented with artificial bodyparts on all the Mecz in his clan. Until one experiment went wrong and blew off half his face, forcing him to develop a facial implant for himself – hence his nickname Dr. Smirk. He learned then that his objective should be to relieve pain and discomfort in wounded, and not only to replace natural parts with mechanical that might be more effective. If you can do both, however, this Doctor is the best in the business. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | Dr. Smirk is still working on a clandestine Army project involving a combination of a new reinforced exo-skeleton for soldiers and a performance enhancing formula that is being developed with rare plants only found in certain rainforests. Dr. Smirk is very keen on getting these plants to perform further tests, and fears the rainforests' will disappear before he can complete his ambitious project. |

Tink
 | Description: | Tink – he's agile and strong, and has a target device built into his skull on one side, and a large caliber gun on the other. He's usually the scout the Mecz send out to observe and report. He is capable of fixing just about any mechanical device that breaks down, and the most skilled battlefield mechanic you'll ever find.. |
| Def Moment: | Lost sight on both eyes after a bomb explosion – got mechanical implants that actually enhanced his vision. Learned not only to cope with his handicap, but to make the best of what he got, and thus became one of the most skilled scouts in the Army. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | He's a real Joker, and likes to play tricks on his mates. He once called in all the Mecz for a demonstration of an enemy detection device that he had designed – the circumstances are unclear, but it blew up during the demo, and sprayed all with a yellow color that couldn't be washed off and glowed in the dark for several weeks. Tank was behind protective glass in a booth when the “accident” happened... |
| Ambition: | Duct tape is The Force. It has a dark side, and a light side, and it binds the Universe together. |
Bizon
 | Description: | Bizon is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he is incredible strong. His reinforced forehead sometimes comes in handy as a battering ram. He follows his group like a watchdog ...sometimes a little behind, but always vigilant and fierce. He's a skilled weapons instructor, and has done service in exotic places such as South American jungles and deserts in Africa. |
| Def Moment: | He used to be a test pilot for all the crazy Army inventions, and usually the ones that never got deployed because they were too dangerous – the Excavator, the Titan walker, the Fly-Wheel, the Submarine Crawler etc. He was once stuck inside a submerged prototype when its engine stalled – the Army refused to send down a rescue team, as it was too dangerous. Bizon somehow managed to repair the vehicle, and take it to the surface – and learned the lesson that sometimes, you only have yourself to trust to get out of a pinch, and you will only succeed if you keep your head cool. He may not be smart, but he's a survivor. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | It is said one Army experiment went so wrong, they had to replace some of Bizon's limbs with titanium parts. This accounts for his alleged superpowers in some situations. |
| Ambition: | Is sloppiness caused by ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care. |
Mr. Jawz
 | Description: | Mr.Jawz is a tough guy. He likes boxing but over time he has suffered major injuries. Now he has got a metal chin, bolted to his cranium. Anyone trying to hit him will only hurt themselves. Behind his tough appearance, he's a real softie – loves when his dog licks his face, and blushes when girls talk to him, making his metal chin furnace hot.. |
| Def Moment: | He hasn't always been a fighter – but growing up in the slums of a large industrial city imprinted in him the survival tactics of a fighter in the slums – avoid eye contact, keep your mouth shut and don't get sick. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | Despite his appearance, Mr. Jawz is known in some circles to woe women with own poetry that he writes and keeps in his little black book. His metal jaw lends his voice with a certain low frequency resonance that gives his recitals an added dimension, making men fearful and women weak. |
| Ambition: | Some people never see the light till it shines thru bullet holes |
Crax
 | Description: | Crax is one big soft meatball. He talks a lot but what comes out of his big mouth is not really clever. Crax has an advanced vision enhancer built onto his scalp. But it is a wellknown secret that behind the device... it’s totally empty. His device enables him to discover movement and detect heat and radiation from a long distance. |
| Def Moment: | Crax was once deployed on a secret mission in a dark rainforest along with Laron. He was supposed to act as bodyguard for him, but got separated from his unit during battle, and surrounded by enemies. Laron saved him singlehandedly in a heroic effort where he was wounded in the throat, and Crax was hit in the head. That is when Crax learnt that loyalty, above all, means everything in your relations with people. He acts more out of instinct than deliberation. | |
| Swift: Clever: Tough: | Secret / Rumor: | During a secret mission he found some very important plans, as well as a map with a secret treasure hidden by an enemy combat unit. Only problem is, it was before Crax' injury, and now he cannot remember where he hid the plans.... |
