secret: | He may be a wooden stooge to look at. But deep down, he harbors a secret love for a certain girl. He's also working on a love potion he hopes will work. If the mix is wrong, she will actually hate Dr. M even more, if possible at all. He's a bad cook and loves to fish. Not that that has anything to do with anything, but it shows he has a human side as well. |

Description: | Pepple, constantly patched up because of strange results due to experiments and mishaps. He's actually a nice guy, although he looks strange. He's the diplomat of the Chemists, and seeks to form alliances with other clans. The Chemists may be a crazy lot living in their own world – but they want power just as much as any other clan. |
| Def Moment: | Blew up the house shed in the backyard during an early experiment. Made him realize that nitro and glycerin made be perfectly harmless by themselves - but when mixed, things go boom. He's more careful now, and never again will he let his sister do any mixing for him. | |

secret: | Pepple had a pet chameleon as a kid. He loved it more than anything. It didn't have a name, since it didn't obey anyway. |

Description: | Fira is hot. Handle with care – easily combustible, and a low threshold for friction. Prepares potions that will change the mood of people who ingest them. Actually, she tries to come up with organic soft drink mixes thru natural chemistry, in the hopes they might replace expensive brands. |
| Def Moment: | Only wears organic tshirts after she developed a rash using an ordinary tshirt with....yes, harmful chemicals. Fira believes chemistry can be used for good purposes, and is now testing a formula that will detect harmful colors in clothing. | |

Description: | Burt is -well, if Tox is Dr. Frankenstein, Burt is Igor. He's ambitious but not too bright – thought he was Tox' equal, as Tox taught him a few tricks. But Tox only wants him for assistance – Burt found out there's a big difference between being a partner and being a lackey. |
| Def Moment: | On a field trip with school, teacher showed the class a river where pollution had killed all life. Everyone was horrified – except Burt: He was the only one impressed with how little it took to make such a devastating impact on such a large scale, and instantly developed a desire to recreate a similar effect. | |

Dreams of making something the whole world would benefit from. But never tells anyone – fearful he will lose his standing with the crazy Chemists' clan. |

Description: | Tox - you don't have to be crazy to join the Chemists. But if you're the most zany guy in that lot, you're the leader. To merely call Tox crazy is an insult to crazy people. Tox is dotty, gaga, wacko, off the hook, batty, kooky, loco, nuts....you get the picture. All he cares about is mixing chemicals and experimenting. Yeah, experi-mental, that's Tox alright. |
| Def Moment: | Top of the class in chemistry – overdid his homework one day as he inhaled the fumes of an experiment gone awry. Nearly coughed up his lungs – and his skin color had changed. Since then, he became obsessed with changing everything thru chemistry – his face, his crib, his teachers, his enemies. | |

Description: | Cid is a kid – forever. He's actually not the youngest of the Chemists, but he looks like it. Which means one of his experiments actually worked. He likes fast cars and motorcycles as well |
| Def Moment: | Internship at a local drug store made him both cynical and hooked on experimenting with chemicals. The thrill of altering mixtures, components or even temperatures just slightly and creating something totally different, of making something helpful into something harmful with a slight twist...that's the greatest thrill he's ever known. | |
